Day 1 Chengdu (L)
Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center. visit Wuhou temple, the memorial shrine to Zhugeliang- the Prime Minister and Liubei the King of Shu kingdom.
Day 2 Chengdu-Kangding (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will be driven to Kangding. In the afternoon appreciate the idyllic scenery and visit the local people. enjoy the hot spring at Erdaoqiao.
Day 3 Kangding-Litang (B, L, D)
This morning visit Anjue monastery. After lunch you will be transferred to Litang by private car. After that, visit the famous Chang-Qing-Chun-Ke'er-Si monastery and pay homage to the living Buddha with a personal interview.
Day 4 Litang-Daocheng (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will be driven to Daocheng. This afternoon reach the highlight of this journey - Yading nature reserve, home of three sacred Tibetan mountains - Chenresig (Avalokitesvara, 6032m), Jambeyang (Manjusri, 5958m), and Chanadorje (Vajrapani, 5958m). Tibetan Buddhists believe that making a kora (pilgrimage) around these mountains brings great merit, and that the three mountains represent compassion, wisdom and energy - attributes one must cultivate on the path to enlightenment.
Day 5 Daocheng (B, L, D)
After enjoying your breakfast Visit beautiful Yading by horseback riding or hiking. From the reserve entrance we will traverse a beautiful wooded pathway leading to a valley set at the foot of the spectacular Mt. Chanadorje.
We will pass piles of many stones by the side of the pathway and at the base of the Reserve's most stunning vistas. We will also visit Tshonggo Gonpa (Chonggu Si in Chinese) - a small Tibetan temple, which Joseph Rock nicknamed "Bandit Monastery". Continue our hike to the foot of Mt Chenresig, where we will ascend a small but steep hill to view a beautiful mountaintop emerald green lake. We will return to the meadow at the foot of Mt. Chanadorje.
Day 6 Daocheng (B, L, D)
Today do a shorter hike or horseride around the reserve.
Day 7 Daocheng-Shangri La (B, L,D)
After enjoying your breakfast you will be driven to Shangri La. After having lunch enjoy a half day free at leisure.
Day 8 Shangri La (B, L, D)
After enjoying your breakfast visit Bita Lake, Songtseling Lamasery Temple and a Tibetan Family.
Songzanlin Monastery, or "Little Potala" as it is affectionately known, is a spiritual place that invites you to discover the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Since the 5th Dalai Lama chose the site through divination in 1679, the monastery has grown into the most important community of its kind in Yunnan.
Day 9 Shangri La-Lijiang (B, L)
After breakfast stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, Baishuitai. The Tiger Leaping Gorge: one of the world's four great gorges - is located in Hutiaoxia Town in Zhongdian County, is honored as one of the deepest and most marvelous gorges on the globe.
Baishui Terrace, birthplace of the Naxi ethnic minority Dongba Culture. Amid the mountains is a stretch of crystal terrace -- the largest area of sinter terrace in China. Spring water flows down from the mountain, leaving crystallized sodium carbonate along its slopes, giving the impression of a marble sculpture. you will be transferred to Lijiang by private car.
Day 10 Lijiang (B, L)
Visits : Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Shuhe Ancient Town
This morning visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Yak Meadow. In the afternoon go to visit Frescoes of Baisha, which people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty with the introduction of the Buddhism. Then visit the Yufeng Temple, which built in the Qing Dynasty and famous for camillias in the temple. After that, visit theLongquan Village, which is a traditional Naxi village.
Day 11 Lijiang (B, L)
Visits : The Old Town of Lijiang
Today visit Black Dragon Pond Park, Museum of Dongba Culture. The Black Dragon Pool: the park holds the Black Dragon Pool and got name because of it. The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China because of its beauty.
Dongba Museum: sanctuary of the culture of Naxi ancient culture. In the afternoon you are going to tour Ancient City of Lijiang. With its canals and quaint mysterious streets, it has been enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Day 12 Lijiang-Kunming (B, L)
Visits : Golden Temple, Kunming Flowers and Birds Market
After enjoying your breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Kunming.
After that, visit the Golden Palace, situated on the prominent Tianzhu Peak in Wudang Mountain. Its bright construction is our country's extant biggest brass casting fine gold main hall. In the afternoon take your time
Day 13 Kunming (B)
Visits : Stone Forest
After enjoying your breakfast head for Lunan County to visit the Stone Forest, a UNESCO geological park situated 78km away from Kunming. Then, you will be transferred to the airport and take flight back home.
